Allergy consult: The issue is complex and you should consult an allergist. Do realize that even though we can usually control the rash, not uncommonly no cause can be found despite exhaustive studies. In the meanwhile, try taking antihistamine 3 to 4 times a day to see if this may help. The dose needed for itchy skin is much higher than what is needed to control hay fever but even then it may not work.
