Not a medical term: "waffle" is a slang term for vagina. When this chronic std has been present a while it is said to create a blue colored tinge to the vaginal and labial tissues. The causative agent is unclear, but has been attributed to trichomonas infection as well as non-specific vaginitis. The name is not used in medical practice, and some feel it is a myth.
