How do a clinical social worker and a mental health counselor differ?

Amount of education: A clinical social worker has more education and clinical training than a mental health counselor. Typically a counselor has a ba in psychology or social work, while a clinical social worker usiually has a masters in social work and can get licensed to practice as a therapist (& accept insurance).
