Strep throat: Strep throat usually has sore throat, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, and sometimes fever. There is usually not nasal congestion or cough. Strep throat doesn't last very long and we (doctors) treat it with antiobiotics to prevent complications that you can get from the bacteria if it isn't treated.
