A member asked:

I asked for whiter veneers and got yellower ones instead! is my dentist at fault and shouldn't he be obliged to correct the mistake?

Talk to dentist: It is common procedure to see what your veneers look like before they are bonded on the teeth. Most dentists will feel obligated to replace them at that point. If you approved them before they were bonded, he/she may not feel obligated to fix them. Talk to your dentist!

Ask your dentist: Dentistry is an art, and sometimes it's not always possible to achieve the expected result right away. Depending on your expectations and extent of esthetic needs, it's quite possible the veneers may need redone. Talk to your doc. If you're reasonable and honest, i'm sure your dentist would want to replace them to make you happy.
