Is it contagious?: The questions are 1) what is the cause of the swollen "glands" (is that lymph nodes or parotid, or salivary glands, or...?)? And 2) is it contagious? If your parotid is swollen from an obstructing stone, it has nothing to do with infection and is not contagious. The correct quesions and answer are needed...
