Sure: Life's hard enough without worrying about everybody's scientific / subscientific advice about what you should and should not eat. This can be part of a sensible diet. If you're staying physically fit, aren't fat, and your blood lipids are decent, enjoy your treat. If you're dieting or you want to avoid overweight, it's easy to skip.

Noooooo!!: Ice cream is way too heavy to add to your daily meal plan. Unless you're literally having only a spoonful or two daily, you'd surely gain weight by eating ice cream every day.
