Concussion: If you just experienced a concussion, you should get as much rest as possible. Do not exert yourself, eat balanced meals, until your symptoms have abated. You should be in touch with a physician to monitor your progress and advise how to advance your activity. Try Ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain but do not use Aspirin as it may promote bleeding.

Get checked: The effects of concussions can vary and be unpredictable. It depends on the severity of the injury. The symptoms can include headache, dizziness, vision change (blurred vision/ double vision), nausea/vomiting. If your symptoms or headache are severe, or if you have a loss of consciousness, you should get evaluated immediately.
