Cold symptoms: Mucus may turn yellow to green with a common cold. However, if you develop moderate to high fever - it may be more than a cold. The most common symptoms of a cold are sneezing, running nose, congestion and scratchy throat. Additional symptoms can be coughing, headaches, mucus dripping down the back of the throat, loss of appetite and fever (in children).
