Broad Answer: Generally a diagnosis is based on a biopsy (a piece of suspected tissue is taken out and seen under a microscope). For more details, please refer to www.Cancer.Net.

Biopsy: You diagnose it with a biopsy of one of the lymph nodes, my friend, preferably a biopsy in which the whole node is removed and sent for evaluation. If they prove it is lymphoma, they will do several tests to determine the stage: ct and/or pet scan, bone marrow biopsy, labs, maybe tests to check your heart and lung function. Do it one step at the time. Wait and see first what they find in there.
