Common: Irregular cycles in the perimenopause (time around the cycles stopping) is very normal. This can go on for several months and usually ends with the cycles stopping completely. It is only worth treating if it is bothersome or becomes excessive.

Maybe peri menopause: You may be peri-menopuasal which would produce the noted bleeding pattern. However, check with your md to be sure that it is not due to something else.
