Not high risk by : Description. A domestic dog which appeared healthy and did not act abnormal might (not sure) have licked a small cut. So far, this does not sound like a high risk scenario for rabies. Do you know if the dog had it's rabies shots up to date? You can always talk with your local public health office. Take care.

Dog: Please read cdc guidelines for rabies vacccination. If you know the dog, observe for 7 days. If in doubt take a booster and measure your rabies antibody levels.

No.: Unless the dog gets sick later, this is a low-risk exposure.
