Goes away on own: Usually resolves on own. If this is reoccuring you should see a doctor to get it checked out.

No: Popped blood vessels in the white part of the eye "sub-conjunctival hemorrhage" is common and needs no treatment. Causes may be hi blood pressure. Any valsalva maneuver, even constipation can cause it. Have your family physician check your blood pressure and don't worry about it. Now if recurs more than 2 times yearly you need clotting blood work up that your family dr. Can do.
