Vasomotor rhinitis: This is probably due to non allergic, or vasomotor rhinitis. It's pretty common, not dangerous, but very annoying. You should see your doctor to make sure it's not something else going on. There are some prescription nose sprays that can be helpful.

Vasomotor Rhinitis: Vasomotor rhinitis can cause clear runny nose with eating and drinking. It seems to be worse with hot temperature, spicy foods, or anything which will increase blood vessel dilation. As we get older we lose some of our vessel constriction ability which is more pronounced during normal states of parasympathetic tone. CSF leak and other causes need to be ruled out.
