Primary/Rheumatology: Your primary care doctor may treat fibromyalgia syndrome (fms) or you may be referred to a rheumatologist. There are 'fms' clinics around the country who specialize in fms patients--so look around. Hope that helps.

Make sure: Fibromyalgia can be difficult to treat, so make quite sure that this is indeed what you have. Seek a second opinion. See a rheumatologist or a physiatrist to make sure there is no other issue causing the pain you must be experiencing. Fm is a syndrome made up of several sets of symptoms and findings. Once you have the diagnosis then you need to be treated by someone familiar with managing it.

Healthtap.com: In looking for a doctor familiar with #fibromyalgia it is recommended that you review the doctors at healthtap.Com who are rated for expertise in and familiarity with fibromyalgia. This can be found under "known for". Then choose one nearest you. If your choice is not close enough to be convenient call your local county medical society and ask for a list of local rheumatologists.
