Maybe: The areds 2 study conducted by the nih/nei recently reported that there was no benefit in slowing amd to taking 840mg of dha with 270 mg of epa over a three year period. However, it was also found that patients who had the highest blood levels of epa/dha also had the lowest risk of developing wet amd. More work is needed in light of the high levels of fish oil that are frequently consumed.
