Parkinson's: Parkinson's disease is a disease of the nervous system . The routine blood test results are normal most of the time . The prognosis depends on the rate of decline.

My DAD did poorly: My father has been gone 8 years now, i had the misfortune of watching a musical genius deteriorate to a vegetative state and die over a 7 year span. I know another individual who is now 20 years out from diagnosis. Both were in perfect health medically otherwise until developing swallowing problems. I have found that the rate of progression is inconsistent. I truly feel your pain. Stay strong.
