Burning eyes: It is possible you allergic conjunctivitis or a possible viral infection. Use soothing eye drops or cool compresses to the eyes.

Could be flu: Most likely it is flu. Anybody in the household or work place has similar symptoms . I would recommend to watch and monitor for any worsening of symptoms and development of new symptoms. Should that happen , i recommend to see your doc . Best of wishes
