Nobody really knows: Like many traditional remedies, it depends upon whom you ask. Some claim that it does help the liver. There have been some studies done that claim pulling with oil helps remove bacteria and inflammation from the mouth. Having less inflammation from an oral source to deal with may help your body overall, but there has been no scientific evidence to show a help specifically for the liver.
