Swollen eyelid: There is internal stye, so what you saw can still be a stye. There is also cholazion which is related to stye. I would suggest you see a doc to figure it all out.

Go to eye doc: Without seeing it, there is no way to know, but swollen eyelid and pain is not a good combination. See an ophthalmologist right away. Good luck and feel better.
