I noticed right inside my vaginal opening there is a whitish/grey mucus looking thing covering the enterance, is this normal?

Could be normal: Whitish greyish mucus sounds like it could be normal discharge. If your discharge doesn't smell fishy and you don't itch, it's likely okay and normal. Women have discharge every day.
