Crohn's Disease: It is a type of chronic inflammatory disorder (body's immune system attacks the GI tract) affecting any part from mouth to anus. It primarily causes abdominal pain, diarrhea (which may be bloody), vomiting, or weight loss, but may also cause anemia, skin rash, arthritis, eye inflammation, tiredness, & lack of concentration. Recent investigators have described it as an immune deficiency state.

It's an inflammation: Of the lining of the intestinal tract. Can lead to abdominal pain, diarrhea and malnutrition. The exact cause remains unknown. Possibly an autoimmune reaction to a virus. Can't be cure but disease can be control and patients can be in remission for long periods of time. Also associated with fever, fatigue, joint pain, eye inflammation. Gastroenterologist should be involve for diagnosis/treatment.
