Probable: One of the features of grave's disease is bulging eyeballs. This also tends to dry up your eyes and making your vision blurry. Talk to your doctor about this but in the meanwhile, you may consider using artificial tear while waiting for the appointment.

Possibly: Your symptoms sounds as if your eyes are drying up as you are reading, and the dryness is causing your blurred vision. This can be related to your grave's disease as a thyroid condition can lead to dry eyes from a variety of mechanisms. You can try otc artificial tears and see if it helps, but you should really be evaluated by your eye md.

Graves: Graves disease can also cause double vision, bulging eyes, and optic nerve compression. It is a great idea to see your local eye doctor for an exam. In the meantime, you can use frequent artificial tears, such as systane.
