Arthritis: Sulfasalazine is used primarily for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis or ulcerative colitis. Mobic (meloxicam) and advil can be used for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis. Not sure what your condition is, but i would not take advil and Mobic (meloxicam) as those are same class medications. Sulfasalazine is sulfa based drug and is somewhat different from advil and mobic (meloxicam).
