Most likely no: Occasionally a bluish tint to the white of the eye may mean a collagen vascular type disorder but it is uncommon to hear of the white of the eye sometimes turning blue. Consider an evaluation with your eye professional when you notice this.

Blue sclera: In a 14 year old, the most common cause of bluish tint of the whites of the eyes is an acne medicine like minocycline. There are many causes of eye that turn blue and stay blue. Many of those causes are serious, so see an eye md (ophthalmologist) for more specific information and diagnosis.
