Both eyes?: Is it in the right corner of both eyes or absolutely only in the right eye? If it is both eyes you are most likely dealing with a migraine. If it is really just one eye, you might have some retinal traction and should see an ophthalmologist to make sure you aren't developing a retinal tear.

Ocular migraine: Those visual symptoms often precede a classic migraine headache. Did you get a headache afterward? Such symptoms can also occur without a headache. In that case, it is called an ocular migraine. The kaleidoscope vision actually occurs from electrical activity in the occipital cortex of the brain, not from anything in the eye.
