Possible hemiblock: An abnormal right axis plus minimally prolonged qrs duration defines what is termed a left posterior hemiblock (block of the posteroinferior fascicle of the left branch of the bundle of his). An abnormal right axis can also occur in conditions with elevated right heart pressure and resultant right ventricular enlargement. Normal sinus rhythm means no rhythm disturbance.

A 25-year-old member asked:

Does waking up at a certain time during my circadian rhythm affects my health and wellness?

Dr. Ranji Varghese
Sleep Medicine 17 years experience
Depends: The sleep wake circadian rhythm results in most of us feeling sleepy in the evening at night and more awake in the morning. At times, circadian rhythms can be delayed or advanced or disrupted all together. Most people who complain of this will feel sleepy during periods when they used to be more awake and more awake at times when they were normally sleepy. Would advise seeing a sleep specialist.

None for screening: Not much if you have no symptoms and no known heart disease. In other words it is not a cost effective screening tool.
