Lymph nodes: They may take a while to go down, sometimes a couple of weeks, no worries.

It depends: Many different antibiotics exist. Each has unique side effects & interactions. Always check with your doctor or pharmacist about the specific antibiotic you are taking.Severe side effects may occur when combining any amount of alcohol with metronidazole, tinidazole & bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim).Small amounts of alcohol are ok with most other antibiotics. If you have alcoholic liver disease no amount of alcohol is safe.

Unfortunately : Unfortunately there have been no tests or studies performed to see if shark liver oil interacts with antibiotics. The safest thing may be to stop taking the shark liver oil during the period that you are on antibiotics. Be sure that your doctor knows any supplement you are taking.
A 21-year-old female asked:

Is it healthy to be on antibiotics for 3 months.?

That depends: There are medical conditions that require long term antibiotic therapy. If you are having recurrent infections of any kind, that is something to have investigated by a doctor. Long term use can cause side effects like diarrhea, yeast infections and others. Generally i would only think of it as unhealthy if the use of such antibiotics was not medically appropriate.

Coffee is OK: Coffee is fine while taking antibiotics. Depending on what antibiotics you are on, there may be a label stating that you should not take with diary products. Thus, don't use a latte to take your meds. You can still consume dairy. Just wait a bit (1 hour) until after you take your meds.
