Take Tylenol (acetaminophen) or: Ibuprofen. If the pain persists, this may be a fracture, and stronger pain pills may need to be prescribed as it heals. Avoid constipation, and consider a soft cushion (hemorrhoid ring) to take pressure off your tailbone area. Sorry; these injuries do hurt. Oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can aid in stimulating drowsiness.
