A member asked:

In what ways are meth and cocaine similar and different?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pretty similar: Meth and Cocaine are both stimulant illicit drugs. They both can raise blood pressure, heart rate and the risk for heart attacks and strokes. They can also cause psychotic symptoms. The effects of meth can last for days, whereas the effects of Cocaine are very intense and usually last only several minutes.
