Is there anything that can cause an elderly lady to go to the bathroom every few minutes?

OAB or UTI: Urinary frequency can be caused by a urinary tract infection which should be ruled out first. If the urine is clean the next diagnosis to consider is over active bladder: the bladder looses it elasticity with age and contracts with minimal amount of urine.
