Carotid block/choles: While many who have blockage in any artery (including the carotid arteries) are predisposed to it by their elevated cholesterol levels, some people with blockage may not have high cholesterol.

Possibly: There is a frequent correlation between arterial blockages and elevated cholesterol. Other issues can also impact harding of the arteries such as smoking, diet and hereditary influences. There is also the possibility of blockages in other anatomic regions which cnan be best determined by your physician.
