Cervical disdisease : Cervical disc disease manifests as pain in the shoulder and then radiates down toward the hand. Other signs are weakness in the fingers and the arm. Treatment is usually a trial of nsaids and physical therapy. To make the definitive diagnosis, an MRI and emg/ncv will identify the source of the problem.
