Wait til delivery: Crater scarring is common in chickenpox. Filling, mechanical dermabrasion (planning), or surgical removal/suturing are most common treatments. All scarring is permanent, but these help reduce visual noticeability. If currently pregnant, wait until delivery and seek consultation with dermatologist or plastic/cosmetic surgeon.
