What can i do if my ex-husband says he has chiari malformation. is it disabling?

Chiari malformation: Your ex husband had a chiari type 1 malformation unless he had a malformation of the spine. Most people will go through their whole life without symptoms. The chiari malformation may have been found when he had neuroimaging for a head injury, headaches or some other condition. Just having a chiari malformation is not necessarily disabling.

Not usually.: Often an MRI diagnosis. Symptoms can be disabling in which case surgery (chiari decompression) will help.
