Stem cells & disc: There is great interest in developing techniques to restore spinal discs but other than pilot studes in animals, there are no fda approved studies using stem cells. The intervertebral disc does not have any direct blood supply so the expectation that cells that are transplanted into the disc space will survive, is flawed. Several mechanical devies have been researched but so far without approval.

Non-existent: There is no valid treatment or procedure similar to what you described. There are quacks peddling ineffective "stem cell" treatments.
