Not for this: Zyrtec (cetirizine) is not used for uc. There are other meds for that. You should see your gastroenterologist for treatment, management, and monitoring.

Per pdr, referrable to the GI tract, when taking zyrtec (cetirizine) 5% get dry mouth, 5.6% get abdominal pain, 2-3% get diarrhea, 2-3% get nausea &/or vomiting, less than 2% get constipation, flatulence, rectal hemorrhage, % mouth ulcers. Sounds safe enough w/uc.
