Not directly: Hemorrhoids can be associated with constipation. Constipation can be associated with lots of GI problems including hiatal hernia, gallbladder disease. Liver disease can be associated with hemorrhoids, as can crohn's disease. All of these can be associated with upper abd discomfort. Probably unrelated, but see your doc to find out.

Unlikely: Would be pretty unlikely that hemorrhoids would have any association with upper abdominal discomfort.
