Chronic illness: Anxiety is not a feature of celiac disease but you may feel anxious on accidental or inadvertent exposure to gluten especially when eating out at restaurant and friends. If you have had significant malnourishment due to the gluten intolerance and are in the process of recovering, you may also be anxious about that too. But you may need to consult a psychologist or psychiatrist.

Yes: It is interestingly associated with anxiety. Anxiety plus chronic fatigue, diarrhea, weight loss are alerting signs.
