Yes: Some people who are depressed lose their appetite and stop eating. Others over eat and gain weight. There can be other reasons for weight loss, so you may want to consult with your physician as well as with a psychologist.

They can be: A major depression, or even a depressed reaction to a situation can lead to many bodily changes. While some people lose weight when depressed, others gain weight. If you are losing weight without trying, it could be depression related. Check this out with your doc to be certain that you are not having any physical problems.
