Cavities bad?: Two cavities diagnosed at the same time is not a bad thing. We all want to be cavity-free and get a good (no cavities) check up. Frequently the decay is on adjacent teeth and between the teeth. This is the reason why flossing is so important. Learn from your experience and become a better brusher and daily flosser!.

Depends: It entirely depends upon your expectations and your oral hygiene. If you brush and floss daily, then i would be surprised to see two cavities. If you don't practice regular, proper oral hygiene it would be expected.
