A member asked:

Which types of eye/vision problems would prevent someone from becoming a pilot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Multiple issues: Obviously if the vision is lowered and uncorrectable that would be an impairment impossible to overcome. The vision should be good in each eye and some pilot licenses require documented stereovision and normal color vision. That depends upon the type of license. Anything that would disallow a normal driver's license would also prevent getting a pilot license.
