Probably Degen Disc: Loss of disc t2w signal indicates drying out, loss of some water content, commonly seen with intervertebral disc degenerative changes.

Normal disk: Has high water content which lights up bright on MRI and when it degenerates, it loses water, becomes dark and loses the t2 signal on the MRI which 'sees' water as white.
