Cannabis: Marijuana is no cure for mental illness. It can induce paranoia and psychosis in vulnerable individuals, and can increase dissociative symptoms also. It alters consciousness and disrupts memory and focus. Its effects on cognition and initiative outlast the immediate effects of the drug.
