Research needed: "Exposure to cannabinoids in the womb alters a type of synaptic plasticity called long-term depression in the prefrontal cortex", and can lead to an increased excitability of certain "pyramidal" neurons, especially in males: https://elifesciences.org/articles/41229 . But THC affects all neurons not just PFC. It's clear that women should avoid cannabinoids (& most drugs) in pregnancy
