Antihistamines: Try oral antihistamine like Claritin or zyrtec & topical Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or otc corticosteroid like cortaid; all should help with itch. Bath with aveeno (colloidal oatmeal) also very soothing.

Anti itch medication: I am not sure exactly where pr is, perhaps puerto rico? Nonetheless, oral antihistamines such as diphenhydramine, zyrtec, or Claritin (loratadine) can help with the itch. Hydrocortisone cream, cool compresses, and sometimes domeboro's soaks help too. To prevent further bites, and diseases such as dengue (common in the tropics) and malaria use 30% deet or 20% picardin according to package directions.
