Constant cough: A child that has aspirated a foreign object or mucous will initially have a constant cough, that usually stops only when exhausted. Cycles if coughing may occur with brief periods of rest.After a period the kid may develop fever and shallow rapid breathing.A history of eating material such as popcorn, nuts or other foods that can form particles is often common.
