How did you burn it: If you burned you tongue on hot foods, this will heal in a couple of days. Could be a sensitivity to certain foods or chemical additives in foods or toothpaste. If this is from an unknown cause itis important to have your tongue looked and by an oral surgeon and find out why this happened.

Heal quicker?: Heal quicker? Not really. Feel better? Yes: cold water, ice chips, orajel, kenalog (triamcinolone) in orabase (by prescription). Avoid hot, spicy, acidic foods and liquids.
