Time: You'll need to give it a couple of days, depending on how bad you burned it. In the interim, sucking on ice chips, and otc pain meds will help. Avoid hot or spicy foods. Feel better soon...

Patience: There is nothing you can do except give it time to heal on its own. You may be able to buy some topical anesthetic at the pharmacy, but it wont speed healing.

Time: Cold water right after the incident will help some, but about a week of healing should take care of the problem. Next time be more careful-mouth tissue is very delicate and needs care.
