It is possible: Wisdom teeth can cause jaw pain. Have a dentist evaluate if the wisdom tooth can be extracted.

Not really ...: The cracking sound in your jaw is probably noise coming from your jaw joint in front of the ear. It occurs when your jaw slips across a cartilage band in the joint. This would be unrelated to your wisdom teeth unless pain around a wisdom tooth has caused you to change how or where you chew your food and this is aggravating the jaw joint.
